Ventura County is our second home. From Simi Valley over to Camarillo and the city of Ventura, we work across most of the county within our standard service radius.
About RAA in Ventura County
Local knowledge, built into every project.
Ventura County covers a lot of ground and a wide range of housing - the suburban shingle tracts of Simi and Moorpark, the tile estates of Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, the equestrian properties around Somis with their barn and accessory-building roofs, and the older coastal stock in Ventura where salt-air corrosion shortens roof life and demands stainless fasteners.
Each Ventura County city has its own building department: Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Moorpark, Ventura, plus the unincorporated county overseen by Ventura County Building & Safety. We know which office owns which address and handle reroof permits accordingly.
If you're outside our standard 25-30 mile radius (most of the western county past Camarillo qualifies), we'll still quote but factor travel into the proposal. Inside the radius, pricing is the same as our LA-side projects.

Ventura County FAQ
Common questions from Ventura County homeowners.
- Which Ventura County cities do you cover?
- Regularly: Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Camarillo, and Newbury Park. Less frequently but still in scope: Oxnard, Ventura, Somis, and the unincorporated areas. We'll confirm coverage based on your specific address.
- Do you handle Ventura County reroof permits?
- Yes. Each city has its own building department, and unincorporated areas go through Ventura County Building & Safety. We pull permits at whichever office owns your address.
- Are coastal-area roofs different?
- Yes. Salt air corrodes standard fasteners and steel flashings - we use stainless or hot-dip galvanized fasteners and aluminum or copper flashings on coastal jobs. The roofs themselves last 25-40% less than inland equivalents if specified wrong.
- Can you roof barns and equestrian outbuildings?
- Yes. Standing-seam metal is our typical recommendation for barns - long life, low maintenance, no granule loss into stalls. We've roofed multiple equestrian properties in Somis, Moorpark, and the Conejo horse zones.
